Police referring to cases involving sex workers as "NHI" otherwise known as "no human involved" sends the message that violence against sex workers is acceptable. It's even more damaging when it's law enforcement officials doing this- the very people meant to protect people and uphold laws

Can we all agree that making someone attend your church or agree with your religious beliefs under the threat of jail time is violent?

Landlords who attempt sexual coercion, people who doxx sex workers to "protect society", Healthcare providers who deny care or call child services on sex workers for being sex workers are perpetuating violence.

We've had many reports of partners who have threatened to call chold services or out a sex worker if they threaten to leave a relationship.

Something important to remember is that when we talk about protecting sex workers, we don't just mean from sexual predators or serial killers.

There are several ways sex workers can experience violence.

Here's a few of them:
