If JT Miller doesn’t get right this season (franchise) is going nowhere

The Landry Shamet Game™️

I do read Mollie’s articles but I understand folks not wanting to click an NY Post link. Make an exception here.

RIP Larry. This is a true loss for the Rangers, hockey, and journalism as a whole.

Not to be that guy, but

-This is the third game in a row #NYR will lose the xG battle, handily
-JT Miller has been generally awful
-Perreault is probably about to be sent down (which is fine, but still)
-process still matters more than results at this point of the season.
November 13, 2025 at 2:35 AM
Lafreniere has been a major factor in all three zones.
November 13, 2025 at 1:47 AM
Rangers 5v5 results have been low key very bad the last 7-8 periods now. Need to right the ship and not fall into bad habits as pucks start to go in.
November 13, 2025 at 1:09 AM
Ironically this is probably the Rangers’ 3rd worst home game of the season (opening night, SJ), but the puck goes in, eh?
November 11, 2025 at 2:09 AM
Laba being a legit 3C with some offensive punch makes this lineup truly deep and competitive.

Hope they give Perreault lots of leash, and Mika/JT should be able to free him up to make some plays.
Rangers morning skate lines today:

Miller-Zibanejad-Perreault
Panarin-Trocheck-Lafreniere
Cuylle-Laba-Raddysh
Edstrom-Carrick-Sheary

Gavrikov-Fox
Soucy-Borgen
Vaakanainen-Schneider

Brodzinski-Robertson, extras

I used the term “defiantly optimistic” to describe how I feel about #NYR this season. I still feel that way.

Would not boo that power play - which generated three glorious scoring chances - but that’s just me!
November 9, 2025 at 1:41 AM
Every game has followed the same script.

-great start
-can’t buy a goal out of any of their 3-4 grade-A chances
-empty power play
-opponent scores first
-Rangers start pressing, game opens up
-opponent gets lots of chances as NYR abandon their structure

Always plenty to complain about with this franchise, but MSG always sticks the landing with these pregame ceremonies.

Stepan was tearing up! Good to see him again.

We all follow Rangers beat writers for up-to-the minute coverage of the Anaheim Ducks.
Final score, Anaheim 7, Dallas 5. Anaheim is 9-3-1, leading the Pacific Division, and leading the NHL in goals scored. They visit the Garden Dec. 15.

Me and @jlchaparro8.bsky.social on the 1s and 2s tonight. Get those questions in and listen to some fresh Rangies content tomorrow morning!

Anyone booing the Rangers right now is completely clueless.
November 5, 2025 at 1:43 AM
I know the direct impact of coaches is very much up for debate in hockey but Sullivan vs. Lane Lambert isn’t exactly a fair fight
November 2, 2025 at 2:58 AM
Another dominant 5v5 period by The New York Rangers eh?
November 2, 2025 at 2:51 AM
Ernie Clement’s reversion back to Aaron Boone cosplayer coming at the worst possible time for the Blue Jays there.

JT Miller has done a great job in the quotes department being the captain. It’s even better though when the Captain makes a game winning play. My latest for @blueseatblogs.com blueseatblogs.com/2025/10/31/r...
Rangers Recap: It's Miller time
The Rangers desperately needed to show something in Edmonton. Some life, some guts, some never say die attitude. And they delivered. JT Miller's overtime winner

We still tanking for Gavin McKenna or nah?
October 31, 2025 at 4:00 AM
I have literally been calling for this for 3 years. Glad to see it’s being considered.
While we wait for puck drop, there's this:
"Our hope is we can take Foxy out of some of those (penalty-killing) situations, so that we can utilize him on the offensive side a little bit more.’’ Mike Sullivan

Rangers' Fox off to strong start
Through the first 11 games, the Jericho native was leading the Rangers in scoring with nine points (three goals, six assists), and the underlying numbers also have been good.

IVE BEEN WATCHING HOCKEY FOR FORTY YEARS AND THIS IS THE WORST RANGERS TEAM OF ALL TIME. FIRE EVERYONE AND TRADE THEM ALL!!!!!!!!

Raddysh can really defend. Eye test matching the metrics.

Noah Laba is gonna be a problem. Rangers may have found their Anthony Cirelli / Anton Lundell. If nothing else comes out of this season, that’s a huge positive.
