I ate 3 hard boiled eggs for lunch today and felt like a king, but the shells were stuck to the eggs. I realized then that I was just a mere peasant unable to hire someone to peel my eggs, someone else to cook them properly, and my lunch break was over.
That basically sums up 2025 so far on my end.

I have fought to defend democracy in my past. I’ve spent the last 20 years telling myself I’ve done my part.
In reality, I stopped fighting when I laid down the uniform and have been complacent and by default a part of the problem during that time.

The landings is a massive gated community near Savannah! Much of the land was a part of the 40 acre and a mule program after the civil war. That land was then taken back and now is a mostly all white, wealthy, gated community. It’s a shame more people aren’t aware of it.
