EHRC backs down on single-sex toilets | Good Law Project
The EHRC’s interim update unleashed chaos after the Supreme Court’s transphobic decision. But now the commission says it was only ‘some observations’ and rows back on its demand for single-sex toilets...

That this has happened to anyone is sickening. Labour and the EHRC are accountable for so much hate and vitriol. Perhaps the Supreme Court might also like to consider the real world implications of its poor and badly-formed decision-making.
Last year my wife had breast cancer and a double mastectomy.

This morning, for the first time ever, she was challenged in the changing rooms at the swimming pool. Her breasts were not what make her a woman - but, breasts or not, she is entitled to dignity and protection from vigilantes.

I guess Farage, Johnson, Badenoch, et al don’t want to know they have lost the argument and promoted failure. Lucky for them, the BBC, Daily Mail, Torygraph and others ignore the reality of these polling results… 👇
Asked this weekend, 66% of Britons said they supported a closer relationship with the EU, and 53% said they supported rejoining the EU

Entrenching hate and discrimination in a political party is never a good look. It would seem @teamlabouruk.bsky.social are determined to bring in apartheid by any means. It is a good thing they are banned from Pride.
BREAKING: Labour will formally recognise trans women as ‘men’ tomorrow. It means trans women will be banned from all women shortlists and all Labour women’s groups. Revolting. The party’s relationship with LGBT+ is over.

The MPs speaking are hitting ALL the key pro-trans talking points:
- transphobic bias in EHRC
- nightmare of SC ruling
- toilet bans are awful
- must hear trans voices
- IGLA rainbow map

This interview is jaw dropping for the Hungarian use of double-speak.
"The Hungarians say no [to immigration]... not because they are racist, but because they know the value of the culture we have in central Europe."

Hungarian gov't spokesperson, Zoltán Kovács, rejects the notion that Western Europe's pro-immigration stance is the only acceptable one.

Starmer’s immigration focus is the dumbest, stupidest piece of political manoeuvring I’ve seen in a long time. His rhetoric is going to split his coalition and whatever he promises will only drive the racists to demand more. You can’t placate them. It’s a losing strategy.

To cover reaction to the UK govt immigration measures #BBC doesn’t get the Leader of the Opposition or the leader of the 3rd largest party to comment. No, they go for the deputy leader of a party with 5 MPs and do an extensive interview with him. They don’t bother to hide their #BBCBias anymore.
