I made a map imagining a light rail system in Louisville utilizing existing rail lines in the style of Harry Beck who drafted the revolutionary transit map of the London Underground.

I don’t disagree! Living here let me tour in a band for ten years which I probably couldn’t have done elsewhere! I am certain that’s not the case for everyone who has left though but I’m sure most cities have folks who experience the same thing.

I’ve known a lot of people over the years who were desperate to get away, only to find other cities didn’t have what they needed socially or were too expensive so they grudgingly came back.

I guess I’d say I want Louisville to be a city people don’t want to leave 🤷‍♂️

This is the most accurate depiction of the Midwest to date. Wichita has always felt like the last Midwest city while also being the first plains city.
