When did Newsom suffer from a TBI?
"I appreciate your advocacy."
🤮
Gavin Newsom to Steve Bannon:

“…Steve, I really enjoyed this...

I think it's incredibly valuable and I appreciate the spirit to which we were able to engage. And yeah, I hope we could continue the conversation.

I appreciate your advocacy.

I also appreciate that you call balls and strikes…”

Anyone else so filled with existential dread it’s hard to even breathe?

Just me? Well then, back under the covers I go. (Not a metaphor.)

Ending voting for women is a core part of the Evangelical plan for the country. They have even considered implementing “household” voting where each family only casts one vote (and we know who decides). This is the first step.

DEI is when a woman or non-white person who is qualified for a job receives that job. The meritocracy is when a 19 year old gets to run the United States government because he posted the dankest memes
Yes totally cool that a 19-year-old who called his deleted LinkedIn "Big Balls," where he lists his experience working as a camp counselor can access the entire US federal payment system without anyone looking into his background, for instance, his Russian national close relatives or anything else

Where the hell are the Democratic Members of Congress? We're literally relying on @altnps.bsky.social for news about our government falling.

In other words, "I was fine with immigrants, LGBTQ folks, and poor people being hurt by his policies. I just don't want to be personally affected."
“He did the thing he told us he would do, and now because it hurts me, I’m upset.”

So I guess I missed a horrifying news conference this morning. Can't decide if I want to see the shit show or not.

Why does RFK have groupies in his Finance Committee hearing? He's going to make us all so healthy that we die from lack of vaccines. We truly are living in bizarro world.

RFK Jr can fuck right off with his “damaged kids” narrative. Two of my kids are autistic and they are not damaged.

WTF, Target? You have been an ally to marginalized communities before anyone started calling DEI.

I'm so sick of people and companies complying in advance. This isn't how you stand up to authoritarianism.
Target rolls back DEI initiatives, the latest big company to retreat
Target joins Walmart, Meta, McDonald's and a wave of other major companies pulling back on DEI programs.

I keep seeing people say it's so much worse than they expected. I guess my expectations were really low because so far it's exactly as bad as I expected.

UHC is the worst of the worst, but honestly, I won't shed a single tear if the entire for-profit healthcare system is burnt to the ground.
There's a reason why the people will not see Luigi Mangione as a villain, no matter how hard the cops and the press try to distract & divide us.

The truth is too obvious, and too ugly.

We had our first county Dem mtg since the election. Turnout was the largest since 2017 and more than half were attending for the first time. This is how we build infrastructure to win elections!

Looking for glimmers was crucial as my 21yo son battled AML last year. He died in January and I still look for glimmers every day. Even through this horrific grief, I can still find at least one every day. I encourage everyone to begin this practice. #grief
