This administration is flooding the zone so furiously that people have largely lost track of the lethal attacks on boats in the Caribbean, the gov’t shutdown, the economy, failed release of the Epstein files & so much else. It’s a tactic of would-be strongmen.

I do appreciate that we can have a disagreement/discussion about something without resorting to name calling.

Honestly, I can't do Twitter anymore because it's constant trauma. The unedited pictures and videos of violence and the hate fueled screeds are just not compatible with my mental health.

We are likely quite aligned politically. What we are all struggling with is how to recapture a communication channel that has been coopted by billionaires. Much like newspapers, television, radio, etc.

We're losing this battle daily on mass media. I don't have the answer and I'm not critical of what works for other people but I don't think a mass adoption of Twitter is going to work.

This is a big deal because public space only works if the public shows up, and having food trucks and other types of vendors at parks will encourage people not only to visit, but to stay there and hang out a while.
