Inflation has risen for first time in five months to 3.4% in December, suggesting Bank of England will hold off from cutting interest rates next month.

But inflation is still expected to fall overall in 2026, with the Bank still expecting it to near 2% target by middle of year.

Once upon a time there lived a funny little man called Trumpy Wumpy.
He had straw hair, orange skin & smelled horrible.
But he could do magic!
He grew back his ear once & he had a strange power called Redaction which made things he didn’t like disappear.
He was jolly nasty…

I don't get how it's not generally recognised that Brexit was an early battle in Putin's war with the West, and he won it.

Trump 2016 was his next victory.

Maybe it's now finally becoming clear?

The AI Boom Will Increase US Carbon Emissions—but It Doesn’t Have To
A new analysis finds that data centers’ energy demands will drastically increase power plant emissions over the next decade. Renewables, though, could cut them while helping keep prices from rising.

Yes, but will anyone in power listen, and will they do anything significant about it?
It is almost certain they will not.
They will keep on about growth, growth, growth until it no longer matters and we become a short-lived blip on the timeline of Earth's history.

These corporations , and their leaders , are committing ecocide & they must be held accountable
