These people were following the law and went to check in with immigration like they are supposed to.
This woman's immigration case was dismissed, which made her immediately undocumented.
So ICE took her into custody.
The air conditioning was off in the back of the truck.
"I can't breathe."

I was crushed that MLK Day landed on Inauguration Day.
Now I know that it is a gift.

Today is January 6th and no one is watching the Capitol be plundered, feces being smeared on the walls, and police officers being stabbed with American flags.
Why? Because one side believes in democracy no matter what, and the other side only believes in it only when they win.

Thanks to our Inflation Reduction Act, out-of-pocket drug costs for seniors on Medicare are now capped at just $2,000 a year.
Once eligible seniors hit that cap, they won't pay another dime for prescriptions the rest of the year.
