The hero of Bondi: Ahmed el Ahmed, a 43 year old fruit shop owner from Sutherland. He grabbed the gun off one of the terrorists shooting at Jews during a Hanukkah celebration.
Ahmed was then shot in the leg and shoulder by another terrorist. He’s being treated in the hospital and expected to be OK.

I am absolutely gutted about Rob Reiner. Like John Lennon level of gutted. Rob was my entire waking life. I learned about civil rights when he was Meathead, I leaned into Spinal Tap as an anthem. Stand By Me was exactly like my summer as a 12 year old. Princess Bride was the most quotable film

I'm so encouraged watching people stand up to the evil that 47, this regime & the robber barons are inflicting. It's happening a lot sooner and stronger than I would have ever hoped for. Courage is contagious. However, tonight, I'm just overcome by shock and sadness about Rob Reiner and his wife. 😔

Rob Reiner was a good guy. He made a lot of movies about good guys, in worlds where not everyone was good and you didn’t have to be good. He made movies about people trying. He was angry, as many hopeful people are. He knew the world could be better and he wanted it to be. His death is devastating.
