The Netflix/WB news is a bummer (like all Netflix-related news) but the decline of Warner Bros has been a sad story for at least the last decade.
Warner had its 100th anniversary in '23, and there was barely a peep about it. I don't think there was even any kind of banner ad in the streaming app.

Observers at the lakefront this morning kept a healthy distance, helped by the fact that the owl I've named Coconut was on the end of a C-shaped path, so ~200ft as the crow flies was in reality more like 1/4mi of a walk away.
Even a 200mm zoom only got a decent medium shots.

One time this year, we got parked on the very outside edge of the lot, maybe 200ft from the exit. We were on the highway five minutes after getting in the car, and despite seeing 4-6 future HOFers on the field, it was the highlight of our visit to Dodger Stadium.
