24 November 1933 | A Polish Jewish girl, Maria Lea Bochner, was born in Krakow. She emigrated to France.

She arrived at #Auschwitz on 19 August 1942 in a transport of 997 Jews deported from Drancy. She was among 897 of them murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.

Today’s picture is brought to you by the vowel A for the Albany Theatre Deptford, during a performance of a climate change opera, Sun and Sea, one of my friends was in the chorus on the beach that night.

A cold, miserable & stupidly gloveless Catford #parkrun which was quite slippery underfoot. Won the qualifying round of the ‘Run Like a Leprechaun Cup.’ Moving dumped Lime Bikes & picking up abandoned coffee cups before, making train noises with a 2 year old afterwards. #GreenRunners #RunningPunks

Catford #parkrun 323 saw 177 runners & walkers braving a cold, damp morning. There were 16 1st timers in Mountsfield Park, for 7 of them it was their 1st ever parkrun - welcome! A massive thank you to the 25 wonderful volunteers who made it all happen.

A decaying wharf with a boat that is slowly slipping into the Thames. It is one of my favourite bits of the Thames, but I suspect that for most people Anchor and Hope Wharf is unloved.

This is what happens when you put a preening, lazy, populist, dilettante in charge of a country.

Johnson was completely out of his depth and more concerned with his pathetic perceived popularity than leading this country through the greatest crisis since 1939.

The only thing that has stopped the system collapsing over the past 20 years is the dedication and expertise of the people working in education. They do this ‘despite’ the system not aided by It.

A somewhat truncated run compared that intended due to ‘housemaids’ knee’, or prepatella bursitis. The 8k around a bleak Greenwich Park, didn’t have any impact on it, it felt better afterwards. Saw a tiger who didn’t want to come to tea on the way home. #GreenRunners #RunningPunks #JogDivision
