“Dutch people cycle an average of 2.6km each per day. If this pattern was replicated worldwide, annual carbon emissions would drop by 686 million tonnes.

This mammoth figure exceeds the entire carbon footprint of most countries, including the UK, Canada, Saudi Arabia and Australia.” @euronews.com
Cycling like the Dutch would slash the world’s carbon footprint
If everybody cycled like the Dutch, we could offset the UK or Australia’s entire carbon footprint.

What is the point of building new homes, if they are:
a) too expensive for people to live in, and
b) don't have essential services like a GP surgery or a school nearby?

Very concerning that the Housing Secretary doesn't seem to understand that... or doesn't care.

Every pound spent on pursuing super-rich tax avoiders returns £14. Instead the government decide to go after disabled people and the most vulnerable.

Time for Labour to make different political choices and ensure the super-rich are paying their fair share.

Nigel Farage wants attention for *saying* he’d scrap the 2-child benefit cap. But in the vote against it, did he show up?

No. Zero Reform MPs voted against the cap in July.

Green MPs put it in our costed manifesto, signed the motion, and voted to scrap it. Actions not words.
