finally someone in Parliament said it. I am not the only one who noticed that Abbott-era bipartisan hysteria over Australians fighting with ISIS has until now been matched by complete crickets on Australians joining genocidal Israeli occupation forces.

One could be forgiven for being confused about current definitions of anti-semitism.

Little wonder when this is the confected outrage the Exec Council of Aust Jewry claims are antisemitic incidents

This same ECAJ "information" is what our governments and media rely upon to claim that 'antisemitism is rife"!

These examples are political expression, they have nothing to do with race

I won't ever be able to fully trust ppl that haven't spoken up about Gaza over the last two years. You’ve made it harder, more dangerous, for everyone else opening their mouths. (Not to mention the whole ‘If not live-streamed infanticide, where the fuck is your line??’ thing.)

Just a lil idea, but next time one of our allies commits a livestreamed holocaust, instead of selling them weapons, hollowing out our universities, curtailing our rights to protest and having the cops beat up peaceful people, maybe we could try stop these crimes against humanity?

imagine bringing education, policing, media, arts, digital and migration policy under the foreign affairs portfolio on the organising principle of what benefits Israel when we can all see the genocide of Palestinians who are live-streaming their own destruction in real time.

Australians are so funny man, they will pat themselves on the back for “rejecting Trumpian hate” at the election and then watch their PM unveil a highly Trumpian plan to ban, cancel, fire and criminalise people who oppose Israeli apartheid and genocide.

I suspect we are about to see a further assault on reality when the 'Antisemitism Envoy' tells us that the way to keep Jewish people safe is to suppress protest against that holocaust.
Sanctioning Francesca Albanese for trying to stop a holocaust, while funneling a genocidal maniac billions in weapons and diplomatic support, is some heinous evil empire shit. It's an assault on reality.

They should, therefore, have near-zero ability to sway politicians, not to mention public servants and the ABC.
