A middle school boy created deepfake AI CSAM of his fellow classmate, a 13 year old girl. The girl pleaded with the school but they did nothing and instead put her on a bus with the perpetrator. She ended up hitting him and was expelled but nothing happened to the boy.

Big kudos to all involved in the School District Honour Band & Honour Choir concert last night. It's wonderful to see these highly dedicated kids have their skills showcased like this each year. I'm glad to see the #Kamloops school district continuing it; it's a very valuable educational experience.

Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
This day honours and remembers the children who were forced into Canada's Residential School system.
It was first observed as Orange Shirt Day in 2013 and was elevated to a statutory holidy for federal workers in 2021.
