It always depresses me how “my people”
Italians and Irish Americans
got accepted into whiteness during the New Deal and ever since have been and now all they do is use the same rhetoric used against us against minority groups.

Yknow I used to play Pokémon this way when I was very young but as time has gone on I've not done it as much. Maybe a subconscious effort to "grow out of it" or something. But I got way more attached to my Pokémon that way.
Maybe I should play an Etrian Odyssey and try and rekindle that feeling.

Then when she moved to Florida she watched Dick Clark’s New Years Rockin Eve
For the 2 previous years we couldn’t find a way to watch without cable; and I’d tell her we’d figure it out the next year
