Game is getting some decent reviews so it picked it up. It's fun! But I'm shocked nobody is talking about the soundtrack. I'm only minutes in and I'm already blown away. Might be some of the best music to come out this year.
Adventure stirs, and a new legend is ready to begin.

Note the amount of time between all five of these purchases. I'm pretty sure all I played was AudioSurf and UT.

If you haven’t played this game by now please do! It might be my favorite game ever! The flow of the game is super addictive autoserving foods and doing second steps and getting a gold medal in a level feels immaculate. Also a great progression system and an all timer OST!

Sol Cesto absolutely deserves your attention. Deceptively simple mechanics with a wild hand-drawn art style.

I wrote a somewhat self-indulgent article about when Tomb Raider and Magic: The Gathering had a crossover and how I still can't stop thinking about it.

I’m a big fan of Tomb Raider and Magic: The Gathering. They probably rank somewhere among my top 10 fictional universes, and are certainly some of my highest-magnitude hyperfixations since childhood. ...

After playing There Swings A Skull and Look Outside I'd love to find more abstract horror RPGMaker games that don't have a ridiculous amount of grind or super obtuse mechanics

I don't really know why but the visuals at the very start of this mission in Slitterhead really interest me. It looks like the setup to a horror movie. Dirty guy with a burlap sack mask, hooded girl next to him, stalking outside a bright building.

Except, that's you. You're the stranger here.

I purchased this and Abiotic Factor, a Half-Life 1 inspired imsim/survival game, within days of each other and they both fulfill completely different aspects of my gaming tastes completely. It makes me want to start writing again.
Can't stop thinking about KEEP DRIVING, a repeatable management RPG about road-tripping as a young adult with no real responsibilities. Its hardcore 2000s nostalgia makes me wistful for real life, the soundtrack rips, and playing it feels like freedom. Play it: store.steampowered.com/app/2756920/...
