I played a little bit of Backyard Hockey on Steam to see what team names they have since it seemed like they couldn’t get the NHL licenses. Turned out they got plenty of original team names that have logos that look legally distinct to the NHL.

Original: Those Endurance and boss fights are pretty unfair but I remade a 4 year old memory by doing Sub Zero‘s Fatality.
MK2: FUCK THIS CHEATING AI!
UMK3: Smoke is dope! Game isn’t as cruel as MK2.

My daughter installed Mario Party onto the Switch 2 and now she's just sitting in a corner saying "I'm bad at this game" every few minutes. Not sure when to let her off the hook and say "no, you're not the problem here, it's this garbage-ass video game's fault."
