Marketing, Sales and Business Development Processes for High-Quality Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) Projects for Climate Change Mitigation
Between the annual pilgrimage to the pumpkin patch and a U8 soccer match, I somehow fell down a rabbit hole of Mount Everest documentaries; equal parts awe and disbelief at what drives people to summit that mountain. I blame @npr.org and their mention of “Into Thin Air” for this new obsession.

Some of us have been saying this since 2020 and even before: Dems should make corruption *the* central issue in US politics and public life and go on the offensive against GOP/MAGA/Trump transparent and hypocritical corruption and grifting. Most voters hate corruption.

It doesn’t give us air but yes to food and livelihoods. It also takes up 1/4 of our CO₂ emissions and >90% of the heat from global warming. 🌊
Our ocean—home to 80% of life—gives us air, food, and livelihoods while being a key ally to fight the #ClimateCrisis. But unsustainable activities put it at risk.

Global Temperatures: Up over 1°C (1.8°F) since pre-industrial times.
CO2 Emissions: Over 35B metric tons released annually.
Ocean Impact: Absorbing 90% of excess heat and 30% of CO2, causing acidification, harming marine life.

This is a crucial point because it determines how much warming is already "locked in" and effectively unavoidable.

The answer is very little warming is locked in.
