Née @sallydaviesjr. You'd be surprised how many people didn't get it.
and there was me thinking that changing my O to a 0 would get rid of all the less-than-ideal people who followed me on Twitter (a strategy that has largely worked up to this point)

Huh. Can't help thinking he'll be fired tomorrow, but that was a fabulously radical way to go out.

You could have gone with my racist aunt tho

Oh er hi Derek. (In truth you have no idea how funny this is – my dad's friends are all stoners who listen to jazz fusion and talk about time signatures and wouldn't know a golf club from a hockey stick)

H/T I think goes to @levparikian.bsky.social, who I'm pretty sure discovered it originally. Not sure if this is the same widget he uses.

Wait what. I absolutely do not want my contacts finding me on here

A most wearisome word.

This is as depressing as when discombobulate made it to the semis of @levparikian.bsky.social's World Cup.

@iammilliam.bsky.social will share my pain

My closest IRL people are all completely offline and say things like "yes but they're not really your friends, are they" THEY ARE SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT, YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND
December 16, 2025 at 11:31 AM
I love it ❤️❤️❤️
December 16, 2025 at 11:24 AM
Oh! I read it was still only Birmingham and Edinburgh. I'm at Stansted tomorrow, wonder if they've caught up.

My parents were on the same carriage (as was I, technically, being in the womb at the time). My dad remembers Robin Gibb helping an old lady through the debris and her refusing to get off, saying "But I've paid all the way to Charing Cross."

Same. I'd never heard of it until you talked about it. It's a beautiful book.

Like I say, I DGAF and did not spend that long on it, but the statements in this article do not seem to be backed up anywhere else, not even the name of this documentary.

Genuinely more excited about this than the 25th
December 10, 2025 at 9:54 PM
A couple of them, certainly

Yes, it came out in the States a few months ago but I think it only just came out in the UK (iPlayer). "Come with" sounds a bit millennial to me, but I've been wrong before. (Once. A very long time ago.)
December 10, 2025 at 5:32 PM
My recent income is very much testament to that. Sigh.
December 10, 2025 at 5:29 PM
OK good. Does anyone need a script editor? I find myself quite time-rich these days, workwise.
