The supermarkets have removed cashiers in pursuit of profit, making shoppers do the work. Most stores are woefully understaffed.

A company breaking a social contract should not be made the State's problem.

I know it is gauche to acknowledge the existence of the Liberal Democrats, but ... they went into coalition with the Tories, they are broadly centre-right in economic policy, and they regularly win seats in centre-right constituencies.

TLDR: The centre-right is represented by the Lib Dems.

As the Tory Party starts its final death spasms, the entire electorate needs to have a hard think about how the centre right is represented cos, if you don't come up with a solution PDQ, Reform will suck it up. This isn't the time for 'yah boo Starmer' - this is serious.

Netanyahu can get in the bin. This invitation for Tommy Robinson is a new low, and Israel can do so much better than pandering to this basic ethno-nationalist crap. I'm appalled by Netanyahu, and I'm sure the sentiment is shared by many British Jews.
