Really important that Zohran won an unprecedented come-from-behind victory while never flinching from his core values. Didn't throw trans people or immigrants under the bus, didn't back down on his pro-Palestine politics, etc.

I think the academy got a little mixed up this year: Emilia Pérez is a horrible movie that came out about a trans person, surely they meant to nominate I Saw The TV Glow- a movie about the horror of being trans and never coming out.

2024 was not the year of project backlog reduction I'd hoped it would be. I only finished a handful of things, and they were all new ideas; I only enlengthened my backlog. I am proud of what I accomplished, though! Finally actually doing some complete machine knitting things. Here's to 2025!
