At the time only People was saying it and I don't trust sources like People & TMZ as news sources. No more than I trust the average news network. They all want to be the first and so they rarely actually do due diligence. I take it all with a grain of salt until they name their source.

In this age of media where even "reputable" sources share misinformation we should always practice caution. While it seems to be true this time, there have been plenty where it wasn't. I still think the way they went about reporting it is irresponsible.

I still think they should have waited to declare it until there was confirmation from the police.

That and then women still talk about men's mental health more genuinely, more seriously, and more often than men do.
Most of the time that they bring it up, they're using men's mental health to try and silence women.

Yeah, maybe he meant authortarian? But it is definitely very odd to see communism lumped in with right wing authoritarianism.

His usage is giving me the impression his idea of communism is basically the red scare. I'm not pretending to be an expert but every example of communism I've seen that would fit this usage is a Frankenstein of the worst parts of communism + something else.

That proves nothing though? Like a LOT of people in positions of authority who SHOULD know - actually don't. Most of the time, they're just leaning on red scare propaganda vs actually knowledgeable.

...this would be more convincing if there wasnt multiple government authorities and people who SHOULD know what communism is that continously prove they dont. A lot of college educated people very much do not know what communism is. They THINK they do.

Even if it was him, it was honestly still reckless to declare it as early as they did. When they didn't have ANYTHING confirmed by police. I haven't even seen actual confirmation he's even officially a suspect and People are already declaring him guilty. That is reckless.

Mainstream journos do not do due diligence anymore. And they media, especially gossip media like People, prioritize eyes and scandal. Do not treat them as a beacon of truth just because they didn't put allegedly. Wait. For. Confirmed. Information.

Media has progressively gotten more and more reckless. In the past, more legitimate sources than People would report things like a mass shooter was trans only to be forced to write a correction later when more than a few hours after the incident it was proven that was a lie.
