I never studied political science and I've only been finding the vernacular for my political beliefs over the past year. I come by my loathing of the Western capitalist class honestly, ie: poverty and a stigmatized Middle Eastern dad who immigrated for the American dream and went fucking crazy

Our city has been over-run by Nazi ghouls kidnapping people to traffic them to concentration camps and other countries.
Did you ever think you'd see the day when masked gunmen jump out of moving vehicles and chase families down the street in your own neighborhood?
FUCK ICE forever and ever.

I think liberal types are lashing out because that's what happens when someone is confronted by a truth that goes against their known reality. Capitalism has consumed everywhere else and now it's consuming the West. It won't stop, and the neoliberal paradigm can't protect the status quo anymore

It still boggles my mind how many people I know carry a sense of *guilt* about the state of things, so I wrote this.

Do not carry their guilt
I'm finished carrying the guilt of the ruling class. This mental shift came to me years ago, I don't remember exactly what the tipping point was – I think it was around 2016. I had read an article in ...

My Dad hid the weapons he and his buddies stole from the Nazi's under the floor of the church my grandfather was the Lutheran minister for. Dad didn't want his Dad to know he was in the Resistance. Turns out Granddad was too, they just didn't tell each other. That's how you keep your mouth shut.

The danger is not that neoliberalism is ending, but that it is being replaced by something worse: a world of militarized competition, eco-fascism, and technocratic management of permanent crisis. Acknowledging the collapse of the old order is not the same as building a democratic alternative to it.
What Mark Carney gets wrong about the end of the rules-based order
To re-establish power, defend sovereignty, and strengthen democratic values, Canada and its allies must do more than challenge the American state. We must also confront the influence of US corporate p...

Political illiteracy isn’t just annoying, it’s a tool to reinforce ignorance. Defunding schools, overworking the population, barring higher-education behind mounting debt and mainstreaming ignorant political discourse all naturally dovetail into people falling into unexamined positions.

There's a trend on Instagram right now where everyone is posting what they were doing in 2016 and it's so icky to me. 2016 was the year Trump was elected and those are probably valuable data points for that regime

So much of resistance work requires having the time to learn, in that respect the neoliberal framework of full-time employment is a massive barrier to meaningful resistance.

Euro-western society replaced the Divine Right of Kings with the Divine Right of Celebrity and Divine Right of Capitalists and shunted all the teleology and hierarchy from its religion into its (extractive, possessive) versions of science, technology, and ‘democracy’.

Shocking that it’s failing.
