Honestly surprised people are freaking out over Facebook. I left it because it became a far right hellsite like 5 years before Twitter did. It's been that way for a very long time.

The only reason the private sector has any spare capacity (it is never cost effective to run at spare capacity) is because they have been promised NHS contracts.

Why not fix NHS pay and bring that capacity back in house?

Better for patients. Better for NHS staff. Better for the tax payer.

Malawi is currently facing one of its worst food shortage situations in decades with about 5.7 million people affected, according to a recent Malawi Vulnerability Assessment Committee report. This is about a quarter of the country’s population of about 20 million people.

I've seen a child with tetanus, I've treated near fatal infections after chicken pox, and I've pronounced children dead from COVID whose parents refused to have them vaccinated.

We have lost our minds... and are about to lose so many of our precious children.
