It’s a sad indictment of Britain’s ignorance of nature that Sycamore Gap petitions - for a tree that mattered to humans but not nature - received tens of thousands of signatures but a petition to protect entire peatland habitats is stuck at 1,500 actnow.peatfreepartnership.org.uk/end-peat-sal...
Sign the petition to end peat sales!
No more delays: Let's get peat out of gardens once and for all. The time for uncertainty has ended.

Garden birds not looking well? It could be trichomonosis.

By reporting sick or dead birds, you can directly help our scientists understand this disease.

Report here: www.gardenwildlifehealth.org

Please don’t clean or remove feeders until after we visit - this step is crucial.❗

One of the things I’ve said for a while about orgs like Sex Matters is part of why they do so well in the right-wing media is because the hacks agree with their transphobia and part is because they pump out daily press releases that can be churned into copy in seconds and the Mail and Tele love slop

Whilst we're all loving this long spate of sunshine and warmth, our wildlife may not be! 😅

Making these small changes can mean the difference between life and death for many animals and will likely only take a couple of minutes to implement (even if you don't have a garden) 😄
