That’s because Micro$oft is under the impression that the hardware you purchased doesn’t belong to you.
I have to use Windows for the first time in a while today so you'll all have to hear about this.
Booted up, paused updates, but it kept installing stuff, so I check and it auto-updated some apps.
App auto-updates were off so I double check and....
YOU CANNOT DISABLE APP AUTO-UPDATESS ANYMORE.

I spent 3 months interviewing, got an offer finally!
Had to pass, ‘cause they forced a non-compete.
Lesson learned I guess… ask for that shit up front so you don’t waste your time.
