Can confirm. My editor of 25 years, whom I followed from publisher to publisher as he changed teams stopped communicating with me around the time the novel I had worked on for 13 years came out. Cowardly silence. Stupidly, I thought we were friends. I couldn't sell enough to qualify for friendship.
