The answers to our problems are simple enough, but the unfortunate truth is that we have no access to change making through standard political means. Not under Democrats or Republicans OR 3rd parties.

People really roll their eyes at you these days if you start going on about Thatcher but really if you ask "why is whatever particular thing in Britain shit" the answer is almost always because of Thatcher.

Reminder that there is no affordable housing because prison is the plan for anyone who can't pay the prices they've set.

So weird how as soon as the pandemic started it became very immediately clear that things like socialized medicine and giving people money so children don’t starve actually work really well but now that it’s been a couple years we have to all pretend we didn’t notice that
