the Grand River really does have Hrand Rapids in the spring. people visiting in the summer are like "that's it?" while riverfront homeowners are still on the phone with insurance about what happened to the dock in April

The ironic thing is Gallagher would be an upgrade on Lolo. He’s 3 yrs younger. His knees haven’t yet experienced the trauma of Spurs medical care. And he is more forward looking.

Before Trump, law enforcement were trained to behave professionally. At a traffic stop they would start with words such as "Mam, may I see your drivers license and registration."
ICE evidently trains their goons to start a stop with screamed profanity, quickly followed by violence.

it's important for every white american to know that yall used to literally roast us alive and then eat us, and that the trauma from that shit is still alive today.
I was learning about lynching at ages when I had a sippy cup & nap time. White people don't know so much about this country's history of terror until late in life. They're not equipped for this moment without the cultural memory. They won't listen to those who have it.

The Eagles defense across 4 quarters is suffocating. It's a team that can get back to the Super Bowl scoring <20 points in every playoff game. Great football if you like that sort of thing.
