Also, we’re on devices where every single app is built to make us use it more or do something, in many cases by forcing us to watch an ad or through a new menu so we might do something profitable. We don’t even operate in honest exchanges of value with many businesses anymore!

This should also consider any and all attempts to create new product lines to depreciate cheaper products. It’s so easy to break this kind of behavior! But politicians are addicted to growth and don’t seem to care about the experience of being a normal person
