I don't think any future decline in WWE will be thanks to AEW, at the end of the day I don't think those casualest of fans who make up the bulk of their audience will ever swap to AEW, AEW doesnt position itself as casual or mainstream friendly, it's target audience is dedicated wrestling fans.

My dream last night was that the world ended and Carti, Diddy, 70 year old 2 Cold Scorpio on a motorcycle, 3 guys in cactus outfits, and a woman in a sweater started a biker gang and kidnapped truth magnum and turbo floyd is nowhere to be found. This is what wrestling does to my brain.

ROH really deserves better promotion, it has some incredible cards with world-class talent, and it can barely draw a whole house in small venues.

Ricky Starks was never going to work in WWE, his whole gimmick was "guy who can wrestle, and I guess he's from new orleans", of course he didnt work in the WWE.
