1) In law, the word "due" refers to an obligation or requirement. 2) If those 8MM people are subject to our legal jurisdiction, then they are; if not, then not - you can't have it both ways. Do you want to say they're not? I mean, on TV and all?
And here we go -- Fox News is now saying we should get rid of "due process" because it's too cumbersome.

Brian Kilmeade: "But I also think it's not practical to think that we can do due process on 8 million people."

The NYT, WaPo, LAT, CNN, etc etc have shifted to the right. Fox & the Post et al have always been hard right. Twitter & Meta are controlled by right wingers. On a daily basis, millions of Americans - probably the majority - see nothing but sanitized, accomodationist, right wing coverage of Trump.
the average person isnt paying attention. Most people have no idea whats going on.

Speaking as someone who's in the process of grading 57 critiques of peer-reviewed empirical research articles, if I never read the word "delves" again in my life I will die happy.

“Washington has become the court of Nero,” Senator Claude Malhuret declared before the French Parliament this week. His speech, whose dark urgency and stark rhetorical force made it a social-media sensation, has been translated and adapted by The Atlantic:

Yeah, we're missing a soloist, so I'm gonna fuck it up for you, okay?
