Can someone in immigration law explain to me how this is legal?
When ICE agents look like this, it is ENTIRELY APPROPRIATE for state and local law enforcement to step in and demand they identify themselves and show judicial warrants before detaining anyone from an immigration court.
Democratic mayor and governors can take action on this.

Chief Justice Roberts has stayed the order requiring the Trump govt to return Abrego Garcia to the US today. He has given his lawyers until tomorrow to respond.
What are the odds that enough Supreme Court Justices believe we shouldn't put people in foreign torture prisons without due process & especially when the government misrepresents the evidence it has in briefs it submits to the Court?
