In case you’re wondering why Pete Hegseth is freaking out about a congressional video reminding the military not to participate in illegal orders:
To put a finer point on this whole thing: "Two people with direct knowledge of the operation" — presumably uniformed military leaders — are accusing the U.S. Secretary of Defense of personally ordering specific war crimes. That's a historic accusation.

My town is having a Buy Nothing Black Friday event where you bring all the stuff you want to get rid of and other people get to shop it for free. And you get to shop other people's "I can't use this anymore" stuff, too. There's also a voter registration drive at the same time. Just brilliant.

Volunteered at a food pantry in Hegewisch, Ill., today. Worked with a lot of fine folks and they had a really neat system in place.
One other thing I noticed: Most of the bread and baked goods and frozen meat came from Walmart.
Glad they made sure that stuff went to people who can use it.
