What is your biggest musical blindspot for someone precisely your age?
Apart from Britpop, anything from after the seventies just feels too slick for my liking, not enough weirdos being sold to the pop kids

Never knowingly listened to Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin Deep Purple or Black Sabbath. Got enough stick for my (shall we say nonconformist) musical tastes as a teen so actively choosing to listen to "old farts' music"* was a non starter.

For me - an elder millennial - it is that I have never knowingly listened to INCUBUS, nor could I name even one of their songs if you put a gun to my head.

I enjoy crude language
If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.

Today I learned that Andy Warhol watched George Romero’s living dead trilogy and after Day of the Dead (1985) wanted to become a zombie!
Tom Savini obliged with the zombie make-up, assisted by Greg Nicotero. Then Christopher Makos took the photo portraits.

My favourite horror genre is british public information films, as all terror and death revolves around the most banal day-to-day things. I still don't like escalators

In terms of Grand Guignon horror, I prefer Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte over Baby Jane, it's fun to see that nice Olivia de Havilland terrorising Bette Davis and braining Agnes Moorhead

Back in the day an ex had a Mini 1100 Special which was a beautiful car, but the fancy central console got in the way when we courted, but unlike my 850, the seats reclined although the weren't wipe-clean vinyl 😁
Know Your BL Colours:
No:68 Rose Metallic
The Mini 1100 Special was the 1st Mini anniversary specials & it came in 2 colours that (I think) were only offered with this car. Here’s 1 of them…

I'm not one for fiction, but I've been binge watching series one the 1970s sitcom For The Love Of Ada. Kind of found it quite ambient and gentle, not bombarding your attention like nowadays. I have to admit the series finale actually got me a bit weep and lumpy throated, which was very unexpected
