I had wondered what alternate universe was going to play the role of the Ultimate Universe in adapting Time Runs Out/Secret Wars. I hadn't thought about the Fox X-Men Universe until I saw The Marvels. It's a perfect stand-in. It's another universe that people have affection for.

And I'm still baffled people have affection for F4. Especially after MoM.

I love how they're clearly trying to reconcile the fact that they dedicated their identity to hating on the MCU but the X-Men teaser got them *legitimately* excited and they can't process that dichotomy.

Wakanda, Thor, X-Men, and The Fantastic Four are basically serving the same roles that Wakanda, Thor, Doctor Strange, and The Guardians did in Infinity War
