I swear to god the “Avatar has had no cultural impact” people are trolling at this point. At least come up with something new to say if you hate something and need to talk about it all the time.
Is there any franchise that's made more money and had less impact on wider culture than Avatar?
Looks like Avatar's got a good shot at a $2 billion total globally when all is said and done. It's arguably a more bankable franchise than the Avengers at this point.

Funny enough, the Avatar movies are the culmination of everything James Cameron has ever done.
I know it’s his choice as an artist, but it really does suck to lose James Cameron for, like, 30 years so he can make the Avatar series.

I love how people just use the blanket assumption that Watchmen was "realistic."
We have no baseline as to what superheroes would *actually* be like because they don't exist. It's like trying to say what elves would "realistically" be like.
