Would love to know the rationale at @skynewsrss.bsky.social for having a camera pointing at a giant vertical screen in the studio, which is showing some TikTok news clip, while a third of the display lies spare on each side, showing only random bits of dead space 👏

This is, like, every day at the moment.

Is someone's new year's resolution to be much more obtuse in 2026?

Cannot fathom why else NYT Connections now suddenly require 4D thinking.

I'm going to stop arguing with people when they say that F1 is boring.

What is the point in even running a wet set-up?

Mandate. Wet. Tyres.

F1 really embarrasses itself when it throws a safety car out for it being 'too wet' while allowing all the teams to continue running intermediate tyres, not forcing then to put for full wets.

Another day, another falling-out with these charlatans and their English-for-kids dialect, their slim-volume dictionaries.

Watching the Stoke defence try to hold a straight line is so humiliating.

Like schoolchildren who are just learning the rules to 11-a-side.

I'm sure there's a good reason why the TV camera at Ashton Gate is in a geostationary orbit – but it's not apparent to me.

Another day, another string of crimes committed by the NYT against the English language.

None of these are words, apparently.

The mad final statement here can be traced to a perception that the ‘production’ of things like songs and books needs to be speeded up and streamlined as if they were, say, hospital ventilator parts. Some people almost literally can’t imagine creativity bringing its own satisfaction, beyond cash.
These people are your enemies

I've let a lot go, NYT, but you need this word in your dictionary.

It's brilliant isn't it, how the quality of football has improved and the injury rate has decreased and the number of Champions League games has increased since the League Cup removed extra time and the FA Cup removed replays 👏 Our national game and its traditions in rude health

This new Stoke 'long' throw is an unmitigated embarrassment and should be banned immediately

Is this what the linked news article really says? Does the study even exist? Or is this all just a clever way of proving their point?

I have no idea. But neglecting to check feels like the best way to support the general concern 👍

McLaren are destroying their own driver's chance to win this F1 driver's title.

Just from Hungary & today, Norris should be 44pts off the lead, instead of 62pts.

No other team would have let their drivers race on lap one, with the way the standings are.

Mind-blowing self-sabotage.
