I’m so tired of disabled people being left behind in almost every way. In education, in economics, in diversity, in equity, I could go on. With things shifting and society uprising, disabled people are usually the last to be helped or thought of. Please include disabled people in your revolution.

This cake was a nightmare to make but tasted like a dream 🌛⭐️ A sweet little treat to celebrate the solstice. Chocolate fudge cake with raspberry preserves filling and raspberry buttercream frosting.

Wouldn’t it be nice if instead of assuming we’re unreasonable for trying to avoid covid… people asked us WHY our baseline is so important?
If they tried to learn what our daily suffering looks like to understand why we won’t take risks?

Banning masks is a disability rights issue. I’ve almost died from a common cold multiple times. It’s not just about COVID. If you’re banning masks, you’re actively excluding those like me from accessing those spaces. Disabled people deserve to be in society.

“I don’t mask I want to live my life” Is being sick all the time living your life? I’m jw bc I’ve felt like crap for over a decade & I felt I missed out more due to that than a couple precautions. My life is fuller now that I won’t settle for less than folks who care about my wellbeing. Idk

Graves’ disease can be life threatening yet so many people don’t know it exists/look for it because it’s rare - including doctors. I don’t have to imagine how Long Covid is treated. I’ve experienced them dismissing my disease, studied long before I was alive, let alone something within recent years.

We only put up a small tree this year. It doesn’t feel like a year to go all out (to me anyway). The branches aren’t strong on our little 4 footer so it was a perfect opportunity to make these lightweight foil ornaments. It was inexpensive also. The foil was only $10. posting a full vid next week.
