This was Mendip Farmers Hunt who trespassed on @savebutterflies.bsky.social Westbury Beacon today. We shall be sending Butterfly Conservation our footage. The hunt know they’re not allowed in there.
Don't know which hunt it was but the hounds from the hunt were uncontrollably running through this nature reserve today whilst we were on a hike. I think the nature reserve is owned by @savebutterflies.bsky.social or @wildlifetrust.bsky.social

We had to intervene several times today to stop the Grove and Rufford Hunt pursuing foxes. They met at Leyfields Farm, Notts, owned by hunt member Peter White. He started spouting nonsense about trail hunting at one point, this is the man convicted of illegally hunting in 2017.

The Eaton Estate claims to conserve wildlife, but its management serves one purpose: shooting. Grouse, pheasants, and partridges are raised and released only to be hunted. Meanwhile, native species like foxes are caught in snares or persecuted in the name of "conservation."
