Matt Frei quizzing Nigel Farage (Nathan Gill in background), 15th May 2019:
🟣MF: 'You're living the lifestyle of the elite'; 'Who's paying for all of this now, Nigel?'
🟣NF: 'Russians'

BBC Question Time, 19th November 2019:
💎NF: 'I have not enriched myself by being in politics. Quite the reverse.'

Riddle me this and riddle me no more.

In the context of the BBC’s notorious “balance” and all that, what would be the downsides of having a ‘rotating’ host for Question Time from week to week?

Come to think of it, shouldn’t this already be the set up?

Of course, as ever, the electorate will continue to believe what their political leaders tell them.

Switching 2p from National Insurance to Income Tax would raise £6 billion while protecting pay packets.

The increase in the state pension would mean that all pensioners with incomes below £40,000 would still be better off next year than this year.

Standing up at conference and promising ‘free Ferraris’ for all party members may all well be and good, but it would appear Badenoch has utterly failed to anticipate *all* the parsed responses Sir Keir now has shoved up his PMQs sleeve, just ready & waiting for the remainder of this parliament.

Hey Nigel, roughly how long more should we expect to wait for immigration to become a “non-issue”?

I fear that in a moment of overexuberant patriotism someone may zip-tie Victoria Atkins to a lamppost #CPC25

Could “journalists like you” be enough to trigger journalists from across the nations into finally doing the job they actually trained for?

Wow. Robert Jenrick doubles down by branding a black journalist's questions "ridiculous" and saying that the problem is not his comments, but "journalists like you who pop up and try to knock me down", adding that "this is the reason why terrorist attacks happen". ~AA

Oh, *NOW* the Tories think Proportional Representation might be a good thing for the country.

There sure is nothing like staring into the abyss to change one’s perspective.

Ordinarily, one could assume anything emanating from Philp’s gob to be malign. On this occasion, however, it’s likely he’s just thick.
