Fifteen years after Tucson, we pause to remember those we lost and think about the lives forever changed.

Spending time with Gabby Giffords is a reminder of what resiliences looks like. She continues to turn a painful chapter into meaningful work that makes a real difference.

🚨House Democrats and 17 Republicans just came together to pass a 3-year extension of the ACA subsidies.

Now it's time for my Republican colleagues in the Senate to step up and send this bill to the President’s desk. 24 million Americans are counting on us.

Breaking: we’ve secured a court order BLOCKING Trump’s unlawful deployment of the California National Guard in Portland.

This fight isn’t over, but today’s rebuke of the President’s illegal actions is a step in the right direction.

The National Guard is not President Trump’s personal police force.

I proudly voted against Republicans’ abomination of a budget that will strip health care from millions of Americans.

They want to take away health care from the most vulnerable among us all while raising costs on hardworking families. I’ll keep fighting to protect the OC from this lawlessness.

I rarely agree with Ted Cruz, but on this we’re united: he called FCC Chair Brendan Carr’s bid to suspend Jimmy Kimmel “right out of Goodfellas” and “dangerous as hell.”

Using government power to punish speech we dislike threatens everyone—left, right, or center.

100% behind you. But I would love to go a step further and propose funding for solutions to issues that affect wide swaths of Americans. Honestly, a budget that helps with helath care and child care costs would get my attention pretty darn quick.
