ironically the main reason that led me to become anti-american when i was in school was originally due to the needless over the top enforced patriotism taught to us. this will only make people question authority even more

They use California high-speed rail as a signature example of Democratic dysfunction when it was *Republican governor* (Schwarzenegger) who was in charge of the state high-speed rail authority at the key moment in 2008 when it outsourced operations to consultants.

I think what happened is basically that a bunch of consultants misread the rightward swing among Gen Z last election as a permanent vibe shift which is why the weaseliest Dems sprinted to do podcasts with hitlerites instead of waiting three months for trump to fuck everything up like he always does
