Some thoughts on the CR/minibus.

1 The Dems negotiating with Rs were not freelancing. They coordinated with Sen Schumer. A few were ready to give in on day one, others worked to maximize appropriations wins.

Those voting for the 'deal' are the ones furthest away from electoral consequences.

One of my favorite idioms that is misquoted is, "The proof is in the pudding."

In reality it is, 'The proof of the pudding is in the tasting.' That meat pudding must be eaten to gauge its taste! It might be crap!

I think this every time I see a blurb/newsicle about Trump and a new cabinet pick.
