No warnings: none of the AO3 warnings (violence, mcd, noncon, underage) appear in this fic

Choose not to use: any of those can appear in this fic, but the author doesn't want to say what

A year ago, many cities thought surveillance contracts were non-negotiable. In 2025, they learned otherwise. At renewal time, elected officials chose their constituents over vendors. That shift? It's the surveillance resistance we needed. eff.org/deeplinks/2...

For further context twitter added a button that allows users to generate ai images using existing art posts from artists. It removes glaze and it basically reskins the artwork by using the existing work as a base. Twitter is no longer a safe space for art

2. Go to ‘Privacy and data’ and turn off permissions to use your data to train Pinterest Canvas.

It's ridiculous that they do this without warning, but not surprised. 🙄

‼️ REMOVE AIslop from your PINTEREST results.‼️
Let's see how true this is....

1. Go to ‘Refine your recommendations’ and remove everything related to ‘generative AI interests’.

(As if anyone who visits the site for reliable references would be interested in that...)

if you accidentally open AI slop on pinterest and keep getting recommended more of it, you can go to the same menu and actually individually uncheck certain posts from influencing your feed!

An easy test: if something sucks shit when it's hetero then it also sucks shit when it's gay, and if a female character would be a bad character as a dude then she's already a bad character

Generative AI is a poison that kills everything it touches all so people who are already rich get to be richer while you have to be poorer
We spoke to a dozen professional concept artists who are currently or have previously worked in game development about whether generative AI image tools have made their jobs any easier.

Zero said it did. Most said it made things harder.

Concept Artists Say Generative AI References Only Make Their Jobs Harder
“The ‘early ideation stages’, when worlds are being fleshed out by writers and artists, are literally crucial to the development of a game’s vision,” said one artist.

Every writer who generates a slop image for their work is a class traitor.

"I can't afford a visual artist"

So your solution is stabbing artists in the back? Stealing from them?

Furthermore, slop-generated imagery suggests slop-generated writing. That's how you're presenting yourself.

I started off as a writer and assumed I would never be able to hire an artist, so I dedicated myself to the fucking grind that is learning art. It's a skill.

Cant afford someone else's skill, put yourself to work, scumbag 💕

No excuse to ever steal from someone else. GenerativeAI is theft!

Yeah, readers, please don't do this. If you love a character so much you want to make art, do it. I would love for people to be so inspired by a book I wrote that they made fan art themselves. Generated AI fan art is an abomination.
The hardest conversation I had about this was when a reader prompted out slop as "fanart" for one of my books. She was gushing about how much she loved the characters, and I had the unpleasant task of explaining I couldn't accept it, and I would rather see stick figures she drew herself than this.
