JFC the man has not one ounce of shame in him.

He went to private school and Cambridge. He owns three homes and rents a fourth!

I know plenty of politicians 'working classify' their backgrounds, but this from Jenrick is taking the piss.

His father's linked in is here: uk.linkedin.com/in/bill-jenr...

He was a managing accountant who ended up as the Managing Director of Cannon Industries

I did have a Scirocco once. Loved it.

Cost me a curry. Sold for a bag of chips.

Not the diesel Clubman. I think that only came in British Racing Green ;)

I'm struggling to believe any excitement about a Maestro.

Now the Montego. That was a car I could, and did, get behind the wheel of.

On reflection you're probably right to knock the Maestro, and all the others in that range.

There was a rumour at the time. If you got caught speeding in a company car your fine would be covered. They wanted to sex up the brand image.

Don't knock the Maestro.

I worked for Rover in the early '90s. I helped organised the Track Test programme. I remember watching a red automatic (Maestro) screeching around Brands Hatch overtaking the 820's, 420's and 216's.

Mind you, might have been more down to the racing driver behind the wheel.

Also has:

"The freshly titled Newcastle Red Bulls, in theory, could be the first of several new iterations. Bulgari Bristol v Leicester Lego Men? Give it time."

“People know that, if Red Bull are involved, there’s going to be energy, it’s going to be a great night out,” Calder says.

Oh, FFS.

Did an event at The Grove, Watford, last night and spotted this interesting piece of art. From afar it looks like Mrs Thatcher; look more closely and the red bits are @jeremycorbyn.bsky.social

Everywhere you turn in Bath this you find a Jane Austen cosplayer.

I love it.

But what are they doing other than dressing up?

Are they attending readings? Balls at the Assembly Rooms?

TREK BATH IS THE BEST BIKE SHOP IN THE WORLD. Claire recognised my bike on the way in to work and said “that’s not meant to be there” and TOOK IT INTO THE SHOP!! They called me and refused any sort of finders fee. I do not deserve people like this.

Like most scicommers ‘of a certain age,’ I crossed paths - if not swords - with Kenward on a few occasions. He was a character, and he got stuff done. Both of which I find admirable. The sector owes him more than many today will know.

Just wait until it is an Irish public sector organisation and by law they withhold 20% just in case you owe some tax.

Oh, did you make the mistake of flicking on to Moonfall last night too? Dreadful movie.

Charlie Kirk’s death is an appalling event.

Precisely because it is so appalling, it is staggering to see senior politicians and media figures commenting at a time when we don’t have firm evidence about motive or the murderer.
