Finished this book and wrote a short case study for my students based on the history of the Canary Girls. These women worked with TNT during the war and suffered side effects from the chemical. Great story about history and chemistry!
I've found this also works with aging parents. Like when Mom gets new hearing aids and struggles to position them in the ears. Struggle = learning.

Just convinced my mom to get hearing aids. I noticed in my grandmother, the loss of hearing meant greater isolation. People would assume she was losing her mental faculties when half the time she just didn't know what people were saying to her.

The Ig Nobel is incredible , one year an Indian guy won it for calculating the average surface area of an elephant and during his acceptance they had an elephant hold up a sign with the surface area of the scientist on it, they do showbiz better than the Oscars
