Happy publication week! Delighted (& slightly terrified) my first book is out in the wild for everyone to read 😂 Had so much fun going down the rabbit hole researching these families and hope that’s evident on the page #histfam

RTE’s geoblocking of #TraitorsIRL as I head back up north this evening is high treason.

Asking people to be referees gives me such anxiety on a good day. This would genuinely tip me over the edge.

Glad to see all the discussions about how requiring the standard 2 letters of reference prior to shortlisting imposes an undue burden on job applicants has been taken seriously by hiring committees.

There are many time points where academic competition and overwork flare up. The start of the year is a big one, so be alert!

Check you or others aren't normalising damaging and unhealthy practices. Try to fix the root causes.

Because overwork is a warning sign, not a celebration.

#WorldLetterWritingDay ✒️

Here's the story of love letters I discovered in the Amgueddfa Cymru collections 💌

Sarah was 20 years old when she received these letters. She fell in love with a butcher, and they kept a public house together 🍻

House of Guinness looks fun… Anyone know who/if they had a historical consultant on this? Something tells me this is this probably the worst time to be trying to get access to private papers 😅 youtu.be/2mH396WCN0U?...
