I understand Will’s hesitancy. This is a really scary moment and it’s even scarier if you’re deviating from the familiar. I don’t want to trivialize that fear.

But also a lot of the familiar *isn’t* winning us elections. If it was, we wouldn’t be in this position. So I say let’s try something new.

I’m trying to to show that you can still use politically necessary tactics (ads, polling, etc), but we can still do more.

Our work feeding / clothing / helping people has been a big factor for person-to-person persuasion, on top of drawing literally thousands of volunteers.

the agenda is maintaining ruling class power at the expense of everyone. properly dealing with the pandemic requires solutions that are too close to socialism. sick pay/quarantine pay, housing assistance, free access to health care etc. obviously this is a threat to global capitalism.
